Zen Monk Playing A Flute

These three pieces were transcribed from a field recording of a Japanese Zen monk playing a shakuhachi flute in a bamboo grove in a forest. Each transcription was prepared using four software programs, and transformed into standard music notation.

1. Sitting by a stream - MIDI
2. Walking slowly
3. Sitting on a large rock

We have included some "MIDI" examples of various pieces.
(NOTE - These are only humble MIDI files and MIDI files will sound different on
different systems depending upon the software and sound card you are using.
These files have been prepared as standard MIDI files.)
