(Note - The Wild Geese sample above is the only bird song transcription currently avaialable that is scored for a group of instruments rather than solo This is an actual transcription of the sounds made while the geese are landing for their evening rest, and is scored for a saxophone ensemble but has been performed on other groups of instruments. These birds certainly rival the most avante guard jazz band, in rythmn and style!)

The range of the music can be adapted for performance on various solo instruments and the transcriptions have been performed on flute, shakuhachi, recorder, piccolo, and more. The particular piece Wild Geese Landing On A Lake While Migrating South was originally scored for a saxophone ensemble, but has been adapted for other combinations of instruments.
